And yet we continue to admire Wal-Mart. When the largest corporation in the world, based on revenues, shifts its healthcare expenses off on state and federal programs for the indigent, you have to question this. The low, low prices you prize so highly come out of your pocket in the form of taxes paid to subsidize medical care for the indigent. I don’t know about you, but I take great offense at the idea that someone who works forty plus hours every week for the most financially successful company on the planet should be considered indigent.
