Team Xbox is reporting a rumor that Bungie plans “Halo 2.5” as a release title for Xbox 2. If Xbox 2 does ship next year, it would be really significant to have a Halo ship with it but there’s no way in hell that Bungie will have Halo 3 ready by then.
But Halo 2.5? They hint that there will be some new features, hi-definition graphics and improved textures and other undisclosed goodies that didn’t make it into Halo 2. Like I said, I’ll believe it when I see it.
