Anyway, so I standing there, bouncing and bopping with my iPod in my ears and my Treo in my hand looking over my BackPack stuff when I happen to glance behind me and see this:
Okay, I’ll give the guy his props for having a some sort of wireless internet access on his… very fine laptop but this is just pathetic. I mean, isn’t this guy supposed to be sitting in a café somewhere sipping an overpriced coffee drink while doing this? Crouching on the sidewalk outside the lab at 6:00 am with your laptop precariously balanced on your knee is not the Way of the Geek. What does he think he’s doing? Impressing everyone around him with his cool always connectedness?

Get thyself to an electronics merchant, or a fine online purveyor of gadgetry and get thyself a web-capable handheld, man! Have you no self respect?
