Okay, I can’t claim to be a true and total geek because I don’t go to Cons. It’s not that I don’t want to, it’s all a matter of time and…stuff. We used to go to Norwescon every year but, since moving to the southwest I haven’t found a Con within driving distance worth going to. I’m not really an anime geek or a fur and personally the people who attend Trek conventions kind of freak me out. What I need is a good, general purpose con that I can drive to from Vegas without having to take time off of work.
This is what I missed at DragonCon:
If you have even a little geek in you, you should immediately recognize this dude as the Buddy Christ, from Dogma. I especially dig the blue neon halo. I found this on Eric Coker’s blog, by way of Geek Fu Action Grip. If you want to see more cool photos (and if you don’t, wtf is wrong with you?) go check ‘em out.
Oh man, while researching the links for this post I saw that Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash has the Silent Bob coat. I would be so totally bad in that.
